Bearden Middle School is fortunate to have two strong parent-led organizations that work together to support students, staff, and the school community.

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) – Led by Jen Anderson (right), the PTO focuses on building community among families and staff, coordinating volunteers, and organizing events that enhance the middle school experience. The PTO plays a vital role in fostering connections and ensuring parents have a voice in supporting the school.

Bearden Middle School Foundation – Led by Meg Arning (left), the Foundation provides financial support to enrich teaching and learning at Bearden Middle. Through fundraising efforts and community partnerships, the Foundation helps fund programs, resources, and school improvements that go beyond what district funding can provide. The BMS Foundation hosts a Spring Shindig every April to raise money for various school improvements and initiatives.
Together, the PTO and Foundation make a lasting impact by strengthening school culture, providing resources for teachers and students, and creating opportunities that help every Bruin thrive.
