  • Congratulations to the Bearden Bruins on the big 53-25 victory over county rival, Northwest. The Bruins raced out to a terrific start, shooting 80% from the field in the first quarter, making several terrific assists, and causing multiple Northwest turnovers.  Thanks to all who came out last night and supported the team!  The next league game is next Monday at Karns.
  • The Lady Bruins opened league play last night against a big, strong Northwest team, hanging very tough but losing in overtime 33-30.  Thanks to all the students cheering us on the whole game.

    Who should attend?

Every parent/guardian in Title I and Project GRAD supported schools who has an interest in investing in opportunities to help their child to achieve success in school.

Why should parents/guardians attend this conference?

  • Each year, 20 or more BMS families receive a basket filled with food items and a grocery store gift card to purchase a turkey, ham, or other perishable items. Please support the National Junior Honor Society’s Thanksgiving food drive and turkey drive. Students can bring in nonperishable food items from Monday, November 9 through Thursday, November 19. In addition to the canned food drive, each homeroom teacher has a “turkey” to collect money to purchase gift cards for the baskets. The homerooms from each grade level that collect the most food items and the most money during the week will receive a treat.
